We all know the Nexus One, the official Google phone, by HTC. Well now, Google’s got a new one, and it’s the Nexus S, by Samsung.

So it just got announced, and it turns out to be a great phone. But what Android lovers will really get the Nexus S is because of the OS; it runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). So lets see what it has…

Obviously, a phone successor has to be lighter than the older model, and it is… by 1 gram. It has an SAMOLED display capacitive touchscreen with 400 x 800 pixels, at 4.0 inches. It has an Oleophobic surface, with a curved screen which is very attracting. It has an Accelerometer and a 3-axis gyro sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 16 GB internal storage, 512 MB RAM but no card slot. It has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA and Bluetooth 2.1. The camera? It’s 5 Megapixels with Autofocus, Touch Focus, Geo-tagging and LED Flash. It captures video at 720p HD at 30 fps. And it has a VGA video-calling camera. It runs on an ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz Processor. It has GPS with A-GPS and 3rd Party Java. No radio though.
